John Boda loves Christmas music, and
this is his second Christmas CD to prove it! This one takes off
where Acoustic Manger didn't in that this is not only an awesome
instrumental CD....but it is also one with vocals! It is a double
CD, one with guitar taking the melodies, and the other with vocals
and harmonies. It's really not two different albums...but all the
same songs and same arrangements...only while they were recorded and
mixed...it was done with a two CD project in mind, one instrumental,
and one vocals! Special highlights include "Mary Had a Little Lamb",
which is a beautiful Christmas poem set to the music of "What Child
is This?". Also "White Sand Christmas" is destined to become a
favorite...it is a samba version of "White Christmas" with a twist
of new words dreaming of a hot beach in the tropics with white sand!

This CD is fun ! It's bound to
perk up anyone in a down mood ! Old time gospel songs sung and
played on guitar by John Boda with help from two friends. Jay
Jenkins on drums and every song also features the incredible
harmonica playing of John Bowden, a good friend, missionary, and one
crazy guy. This is one of the best sellers. Recorded in
memory of Mahalia Jackson and Thomas A. Dorsey. Highlights include a
high tempo ride on "Down by the Riverside" medley, and a cajun New
Orleans style beat and feel in "God's Unchanging Hand".

A Celebration of
Christmas with beautiful layered acoustic guitars and percussion.
His first all instrumental album with a special written message
inside
"The Meaning of Christmas". The musical style is a
real hybrid of acoustic folk, jazz, and bluegrass Christmas pickin'!
This CD was awarded one of the top Christmas CD's of 2001 by Rick
O'Dell, midday host of WNUA 95.5 FM, Smooth Jazz Chicago, in his
annual best new Christmas CD listing. This CD is one of the
favorites and most popular of John Boda's projects.
